Lemon Twist Janoski/Dunk Concord Release
by Steph McGilvra on April 16, 2013
We have received both the Lemon Twist Janoski Quick Strike and Our Dunk Low "Concord" shipments. Both of these shoes are highly anticipated releases that people have been excited about for months. The Janoski features a Nylon upper as opposed to the traditional suede or leather. The insole bares the 3 square logo that identifies this a a collaboration between them and Nike. These things are BRIGHT. So bright, they almost glow. The Lemon Twist Janoskis will be for sale on Wednesday April 17th. First come first serve.
The Dunk Low Concord is reminiscent of a Jordan Concord 11. It features a nylon upper with black patten leather toe cap, heel panel and tab. The outsole is ice blue with a purple interior EVa in the center. These make a nice companion to the "Space Jam" release of a couple of years ago.
The Concords will be released on Saturday April 20th. Due to the call volume we have received, we have decided to do a raffle. NO CAMPING!!! It's the only way we can make things equitable and give people the best shot of getting a pair. Tickets will be available at 11am, and the raffle will take place shortly there after. We are charging 3 dollars per ticket with a limit of two tickets per person. Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Boys and Girls club of Portland. We ask that you bring cash for the raffle tickets so that we can just hand that directly over to the Boys and Girls club. Thanks or understanding, and see you on Saturday for the Concords.

Look/See x G.I. JOE
by Steph McGilvra on April 01, 2013
Today our Look/See x G.I. Joe sunglasses arrived, and we couldn't be more pleased with the final product! These are truly one of the best and most detailed collaborations we have ever seen. For children of the 80's opening this shipment was a real treat. It brings back some memories for us, and we are sure it will bring some back for others too. Only 100 of each model were produced and they come in a blister pack that is reminiscent of the G.I. Joe action figures from the 80s complete with character artwork. The back of the packaging has a character file detailing the different attributes, strengths and back story just like the original toys. The Look/See logo has even been done up in the G.I. Joe font and colors. We wish we could have gotten enough to keep a pair of each for ourselves, but then we would have to struggle with the decision of whether or not to remove them from the packing. We'd rather sell them to people and let them make the difficult decision.
Check out the collection here.
S.P.oT. Quickstrike Release Reminder
by Steph McGilvra on March 21, 2013
As a reminder, the S.P.oT. Nike SB Dunk Low Quickstrike release is happening TOMORROW, Friday the 22nd!!!
We open at 11am and close at 7pm, the shoes will be available on a first-come-first-served basis and only 1 pair per person will be allowed.
This shoe celebrates the 20th year that Skatepark of Tampa FL. has been around, and features custom art done by Lance Mountain. The artwork is applied to the outside of the shoe as part of the suede in an all-over print. This is a unique treatment that sets this shoe apart from any other prior SB release. The trim color is a nice soft teal, with a silver swoosh over top. The midsole is white, finished off with a black outsole. The detail on this shoe is amazing to say the least!

March Nike SBs
by Steph McGilvra on March 15, 2013
Just in time for St. Patrick's day; Our Dunk High Pros in Pine Green/Metallic Gold-Pine Green arrived today! These feature a full grain upper with metallic gold pebbled swoosh and heel tab. Green nylon surrounds the collar to give a slight contrast the the leather finish. The interior lining is a green mesh that is a slightly more dobby finish than other dunk highs, and it ties into the the dark green outsole. Alternate lace color is a darker green than what is shown in the shoe. If you have been looking for the perfect shoe to feel a little luck 'o the Irish in, this is definitely it.
Two Janoskis have made their way to the shop as well. One is a Khaki/Hyper Red -Beige, and the other is a Crystal Mint. The Khaki Jano is suede, and the Crystal Mint is canvas. Both are solid colors, weather you feel conservative, of you are just dying for a little spring flavor and want to help welcome the incoming season with some vibrant kicks.
Last we have a retread of a Koston in Black/Dark Grey-Chambray. The addition of the chambray color gives it a little pop, while maintaining the solid nature of the black/grey colorway.
SPoT Quick Strike News: Our allocation of shoes has been shipped and it should be arriving next week. We will post an update as to when we receive them, and when they will be offered for sale.
Nike SB BHM Dunk Low Pro
by Steph McGilvra on March 08, 2013
The Dunk Low pro "Theotis Beasley" for February just arrived. Better late than never, because these do look really nice. The suede on the toe is very buttery, the side panels are a satin black finish and the green heel is matte nubuck. The contrast of all 3 finishes really looks good together with the pebbled gold swoosh really makes the shoe. The embroidered "Nike" on the heel tab is done in all 3 colors for a nice tie in. Insoles have a black and white floral pattern, and the blue ice outsole makes for a nice understatement in conjunction with the black midsole. All in all a very strong shoe with a lot of appeal. These are already on the shelf and ready to be picked up.
Nike SB BHM "McRad" Quick Strike
by Steph McGilvra on February 19, 2013
Earlier this month we released the BHM(Black History Month) Bruin's. Today we give you the Nike Dunk High SB "McRad". This shoes celebrates Chuck Treece's cover on Thrasher magazine. Chuck was the first African American to grace the cover of any skateboard magazine. The shoe features the detailed color placement from that pivotable cover as well as Chuck's band's album cover from the same year, 1986. While mostly suede, this shoe does feature some light grey twill side panels and a two-layer, two-color swoosh, and nylon tongue. A glance inside the shoe will reveal a photo sublimated insole. A very detailed and well-executed Quick Strike, the McRad is set to turn some heads for sure.
Nike SB BHM Bruin
by Steph McGilvra on February 15, 2013
Today we received the Nike SB Black HIstory Month Bruin. It's black suede with a faux crocodile Swoosh and heel panel. The heel features gold Nike embroidery that toes into the gold printing on the insole and tongue tab. The finishing touch is a black flat lace with one red and one green end that also ties back to the printing on the insole. These are classy and versatile.
These will be released for sale Saturday February 16th at 11am.
We have yet to receive the other 2 shoes from this pack(the McRads and the Theotis Dunk Low) . It's looking like they will be here next week. When we do receive them, we will post the release date for each.
Nike SB February Janoski and Lunar Blazer Mid
by Steph McGilvra on February 08, 2013
This month we have received a Janoski in Black/White-Gum and a Blazer mid Lunar. FOr those of you looking for a classic colorway of the Janoski, but without the annoyance of the white outsole that gets dirty way to quickly; these are what you have been waiting for. Perfect for our wet and soggy springs. They have a hit of Chambray fabric on on the heel and tongue to class it up.
The Lunar Blazer is a really well done update to the classic silhouette. It still features the favorite vulcanized outsole, but on top of that the have added a Lunarlon insole. It's the same material that is in the Koston, so it boasts incredible comfort and impact protection. The upper heel panel is made of softer foam and fabric so as to minimize pressure points and rubbing. The other really noticeable difference between these and the original Blazer is that the Lunar is significantly lighter weight!
The other shoe we received is a restock on the Original color of the Stefan Janoski. If you have been looking for more of the Black/White color with leather laces, we have all sizes from 7.5-13!
And finally: We will be receiving the 3 Black History Month shoes Later this month. One of them will probably land next week, and the other two, most likely the week after. We'll post about these specifically when we know more.
