Walk of Fame Dunks

by Steph McGilvra on August 20, 2013

Our Nike SB Walk of Fame Dunks have been allocated, and have yet to ship. We expect them to arrive at the end of this month. As we get closer to the release date, we will update our blog and social media outlets with more information. Stay tuned.

Nike SB for August

by Steph McGilvra on August 03, 2013

This month we have received a Dunk low, a restock on Griptape Mids and the eagerly anticipated Project BA Premium. The Dunk Low Pro is a unique color combo of Medium Olive/Atomic Red-Electric Purple, using both canvas and suede materials that really catches your eye. The more I look at it, the more I wish I had ordered a pair for myself.

The Project BA is the brainchild of Brian Anderson. He wanted to design something lightweight and breathable but with ample impact protection. It features an Ortholite insole with a zoom air midsole. The inside panel is a see-through mesh to promote breathability and cut weight. The Collar is neoprene, and features small heel grippers to help keep the shoes snug to your foot. The premium version features art by Brian Anderson that gives it a more personalized look.

Civilist Release

by Steph McGilvra on August 02, 2013

We put the word out today on "social media" outlets but we got slammed and I didn't get the chance to make a specific blog post. The Civilist Dunk High Premiums arrived today, and we released them for sale this afternoon. These are probably the classiest Quick Strike release of the year.

We are limited in what we have left for sizes, but if you are still looking for them give us a call.

Civilist Dunk High update

by Steph McGilvra on August 01, 2013

The Civilist Dunk High Premiums should arrive here on Friday August 2nd. Once they are here and in our system, we will make a blog post about their arrival and release information. Thanks for your patience.

MIA dunk low premium

by Steph McGilvra on July 24, 2013

We have received some of our order of the MIA Dunk Low Premium. It is only a partial shipment, but from the sounds of things at Nike, their shipping department is going through a tough month. The rest of our order may arrive later, but we aren't going to wait for those pairs to arrive to release what we have. I'm sorry we have such a small amount to sell, but it's really beyond our control. That being said, this shoe is awesome! It's a combination of perforated full grain leather and a suede. The suede treatment on the heel anchor and eyelet surrounds is very unique in that it has been distressed to look ripples on top of water. It's very well done. The insole features a mosaic pattern in the same colors of upper. The bottom outsole is a very light Ice blue color. It compliments the rest of the colors well.

We are releasing these today on a first come first serve basis.

The Civilist Dunk High Quick Strike will be shipped to us later next week. We will update the blog once we know more. Hopefully that shipment won't be subject to the same snafu that this release was.

Summer Kicks and Apparrel and more

by Steph McGilvra on July 18, 2013

We are getting new stuff daily. It's been kind of hard to check it all in and get blog posts up with item listings on the site but here's a decent list of most of the new things we have received recently.

Adidas Summer apparel and shoes have arrived. We have socks, shoes, jackets, T-shirts, sweatshirts, woven button-ups and hats. The Silas II shoe is the most recent footwear arrival. It features a suede upper with woven nylon stripes. The last lace has an option of going through a nylon loop or lacing it behind for a little added protection. The outsole is cup construction for added durability. One of the cool things you will notice on the bottom of the sole is the logo that features Mount Hood. All of Silas's signature items feature a reference to his Northwest roots and many of the Adidas Skate pieces feature this because the line is designed right here in Portland and they are showing the area a little love.

Converse recently released the KA II shoe and our order of Black/White sued came in earlier this week.  This shoe features a Lunarlon insole for maximum comfort and impact protection. It's the same insole the Nike Koston 1's and 2's have, but with a more flexible and grippy outsole.

Our July offering from Nike SB consists of a Deep Blue/University Red Janoski, a Black rip-stop canvas Janoski AC with Cork insoles and a Black/Sonic Yellow-University Red Dunk Low Pro that has been dubbed by some sneakerheads as the "Butthead" because it's said to tie into the Cartoon character's clothing colors. Cartoon tie-in or not, it's a pretty sharp looking shoe. The strap Janoski is readily becoming a favorite here around the shop for comfort and versatility. If you liked the limited edition cork consoles that came out with the first release of the Janoski, this offers a little more cushion than the original version.

We have also been getting a steady stream of skate hardgoods. Most recently new decks from Bacon, Lifeblood, Girl, Real, Krooked and Anti-Hero as well as Thunder trucks and spitfire and Portland wheel company wheels. We expect to get more wheels and bearings from Bones tomorrow. New decks from Bustin are on the Horizon too. Summer is shaping up pretty well.

MIA and Civilst SB Dunks

by Steph McGilvra on July 16, 2013

We expect our Quick Strike order of MIA Dunk Lows and Civilist Dunk Highs will be shipped on the 22nd of July and arrive in store somewhere around the 30th. When we know they have been shipped and when they are set to arrive we will post info about the release date.

Firecracker QS Shirts

by Steph McGilvra on July 02, 2013

The Nike SB Quick Strike Firecracker Shirts that tie into the Dunk Pack arrived today. These shirts feature the same red and white pattern that is on the heel peice of the Dunk Premiums. Its unfortunate that the shirts arrived after we released the dunks, but we do have a couple of sizes in the black color way left so it's still possible to get a kit if you want. Even if you didn't get the shoes, the shirt will look pretty good next to some sparklers or some Black Cats.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium "Black Cat Firecracker" Pack Release Details

by Steph McGilvra on June 28, 2013

The delivery man made is appearance today so we now have both colors of the Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Quick Strike are here in the store. The matching shirts are still scheduled to be here Tuesday. We would have liked to have all the pack together for the release but in order to give people a chance to pick up the shoes on a more opportune time, we elected to release them on Saturday the 29th.

The Black colorway shares the same insole pattern as the Red. However the embroidery on the Black pairs reads "Caution Flammable" as opposed to the Red Pair reading "Warning Explosive". Both pairs feature an alternate Red lace. Both swooshes have yellow contrast stitching on a texturized leather.

These shoes will be available for purchase Saturday June 29th at 11am. It will be first come first serve. We will allow people to purchase one pair of each color per person.

Nike SB "Firecracker" Dunks

by Steph McGilvra on June 27, 2013

The Hyper-strike colorway of the Nike SB Firecracker Dunk arrived today. We expect that the black Quick Strike colorway will arrive tomorrow. If all goes as planned we will be releasing both colors of this shoe on Saturday. Unfortunately the matching T-Shirts will not arrive until next Tuesday. In spite of that fact, we are planing to go ahead and release the shoes this weekend to give people enough time to pick them up and have them in time for 4th of July celebrations. We know people are going to want to set off some fire crackers while wearing these.
